Series E Handheld Digital Multimeters - A New Dimension of Accuracy

GMC-I Gossen Metrawatt has achieved unparalleled levels of resolution precision with 60,000 digits for its new range of handheld multimeters. As a result, the METRAHIT E series represents a giant step in the development of handheld multimeters.

GMC-I's new, METRAHIT E series handheld digital multimeters are distinguished by a resolution of 60,000 digits and an accuracy level of 0.05%. With characteristic values like these, they offer the highest measuring precision of all currently available, series manufactured handheld multimeters.

For the first time ever, a portable, flexibly usable multimeter is thus now available from the market, which has not problem competing with much more expensive benchtop multimeters where reliability of obtained results and scope of functions are concerned.

These high quality measuring instruments have been designed especially for electrical measuring tasks which place high demands on accuracy. They fulfill all of the requirements stipulated for the highest measuring category, namely CAT IV. Their primary range of applications includes R&D, laboratory work, service and calibration. They cover a broad spectrum of measuring tasks thanks to the great variety of integrated functions.

In actual practice, the instruments support users with up-to-date ergonomics and maximum safety. The large LCD panel is illuminated, and displayed characters have a height of 15 mm. Ideal readability is thus assured under any lighting conditions. As is the case with all METRAHIT instruments, the E series models are also equipped with patented automatic blocking sockets (ABS). A DKD calibration certificate is also included as a standard feature.

The multimeters are capable of bidirectional communication with a PC via infrared interface with the help of METRAwin10 software. This opens up lots of opportunities for the acquisition, visualization and analysis of measurement data, and expands the range of possible applications as well.
