As a consistent further development of the internationally successful PROFITEST 0100S-II+ protective measures test instrument, GMC-I Gossen-Metrawatt is now introducing its new series of PROFITEST Master testers.

The instruments are capable of executing all of the necessary measurements for testing the effectiveness of safety measures in electrical systems as required by VDE 0100, part 600, and as specified in the individual sections of VDE 0413. They're universally suitable for approvals, periodic and function testing at electrical installations.

Four versions with varying scopes of performance features cover a broad spectrum of measuring tasks for practical electrical applications:

PROFITEST M-BASE
Basic instrument for standard functions including low-resistance measurement, insulation measurement, loop impedance measurement and internal system impedance including voltage drop measurement, as well as many other practical measuring functions

PROFITEST M-PRO
All standard functions plus ground loop measurement with two optional clamp meters

PROFITEST M-TECH
All standard functions plus testing of type B RCDs (DC)

PROFITEST M-XTRA
All standard functions plus testing of type B RCDs (DC) and ground loop measurement with two optional clamp meters

The new PROFITEST Master series instruments are distinguished by outstanding precision and reliability. Special emphasis has been placed upon an innovative, ergonomic overall concept which significantly facilitates use under any working conditions. For example, the large illuminated display can be rotated over a large swivel angle. Easy to use soft-keys and a rotary function selector switch promote safe and efficient measuring procedures. Integrated ETC user software (electrical testing center) allows for the individualized definition of test structures, as well as documentation of results in accordance with the standards with automatically generated test reports. USB and RS 232 ports are available for bidirectional data exchange with a PC.
