Three decades of experience with mains analyzers have gone into the
development of the intelligent MAVOSYS 10, a new generation of stationary
monitoring systems for mains quality, power and energy from GMC-I
Gossen-Metrawatt.
The MAVOSYS 10 can be freely configured and precisely matched to the respective application. This flexibility, along with the multiuser web interface provided by Encore Series Software and a ¼ VGA LCD local color touch-screen, make the MAVOSYS 10 an ideal solution for all applications.
The groundbreaking MAVOSYS 10 departs for the first time from the traditional 8-channel device configuration consisting of 4 voltage and 4 current inputs. You can select from amongst various input modules for voltage (4 channels), current (4 channels) and digital signals (8 channels). Applications which used to require two or more devices can now be implemented by combining up to 4 modules into a single MAVOSYS 10, which saves space and reduces costs.
Common combinations include:
8 channels for conventional monitoring of mains quality and power: one input module each for voltage and current
16 channels for monitoring the functions of systems such as uninterruptible power supplies (input/output): with two modules each for voltage and current
16 channels for monitoring supply to substations: one input module for voltage and three for current
With the help of software, the individual modules included in the MAVOSYS 10 can be transformed into separate measuring instruments with up to 4 virtual analyzers. These are based either on individual modules in an independent fashion, or on a combination of several modules, such as voltage and current, which constitute a single analyzer for mains quality, power and energy.
Thanks to comprehensive conformity, the MAVOSYS 10 is ideally suited for continuous monitoring in accordance with international standards, for example EN50160, as well as user defined requirements. The input module for voltage is certified in accordance with IEC61000-4-30, class A, by an independent laboratory. Measurements performed with the MAVOSYS 10 are precise and reproducible, and they fulfill strict requirements.
In its standard housing (61STD), the MAVOSYS 10 can be operated as a stand-alone device, or it can be mounted to a 19" cabinet using a rack fixture - with or without ¼ VGA LCD color touch-screen. The MAVOSYS 10 can also be mounted with a wall bracket in a water-proof housing for extremely adverse ambient conditions. A panel mount variant is additionally available with ¼ VGA LCD color touch-screen (61SGD), or without display (61SG).
An ideally matched solution can always be created by selecting the required housing design and the corresponding modules.
